Presentation & How It's Eaten
Served frozen on wooden popsicle sticks straight from freezer molds.
Ingredients
1 cup ripe honeydew melon, cubed
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 drop green food coloring (optional)
Step-by-Step Directions
Blend Ingredients: Place cubed honeydew melon, heavy cream, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and green food coloring into a high-speed blender.
Puree Smooth: Puree on high speed for 1 minute until texture is velvety smooth with no pulp remaining.
Fill Molds: Pour mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a 1/4-inch space at top for expansion. Insert wooden popsicle sticks into center.
Freeze Solid: Place molds in freezer for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight) until firm.
Unmold: Dip bottom of molds in warm water for 10 seconds to release ice bars cleanly.
Cooking Tips
Condensed Milk for Texture: Sweetened condensed milk lowers freezing point and prevents hard ice crystals from forming, preserving a velvety smooth bite.
